Big Buddy is run by the Big Buddy Mentoring Trust, a registered charitable trust.

The trust currently has 4 trustees: Andrew Cook (Chair), Wally Thomas, Mike Murphy and Richard Aston who is also the Chief Executive of the Trust.

We currently employ three coordinators, who work directly with Little Buddies, their families and Big Buddies. As we expand we will employ more coordinators to cover different parts of Auckland and New Zealand. Our screening and assessment process is maintained by our contracted clinical manager and our financial administration is covered by our part time Bursar.

Our accounts are audited annually and our working processes are reviewed regularly to ensure we do our work efficiently and with integrity.

We are accredited with CYFs as a community service provider and have been honoured with several awards.
