A programme developed for teenage boys aged 14-17

This new Group programme takes groups of 10-12 teenage boys on a learning journey with 3-4 Buddies, good men who have gone through our stringent Selection Process, and experienced facilitators and instructors. The programme runs during a school term and meets weekly on a weekend for 7 weeks.

During their weekly catch-ups, the boys take part in various challenges designed to help them build relationships, improve their wellbeing and understand responsibility. They will learn to challenge themselves to achieve their best.

What they gain:

The programme concludes with the boys attending a 3 night adventure camp with mentors and facilitators. Here their strengths, self-confidence, resilience and coping strategies are developed through several different challenges and activities while out in nature.

On their return, a homecoming hui is held to celebrate their achievements and growth.

Thanks to generous sponsorships, each young person receives $4,500 worth of mentoring, adventure, and personal growth at no cost to their whānau.
