LB mother Lei Davis has seen welcome changes in her son Isaiah (11) since he was matched with BB Aidyn just over a year ago. They’ve been on all sorts of adventures, including climbing Rangitoto Island in the Hauraki Gulf. She explains below:
“Ziaz really looks forward to Aidyn coming. His eyes have hope, as if he’s going out for the day with his big brother. He really looks up to him as a proud young boy being with his Big Buddy Aidyn.
“There has been a great improvement in his countenance and since Ziaz is around Aidyn his confidence has sky rocketed. I would recommend this organisation to any young man that is willing to allow himself to be changed, nurtured and transformed by the genuine bond of friendship and companionship that comes from having such a big brother buddy. Many thanks and appreciation comes from me as a mother watching on from a distance as her son develops in trust and dignity with integrity.
“I think without a doubt that you have my many thanks and appreciation for all Big Buddy has given, and especially Aidyn and Steve. I can’t express how much it means to me but it really does and the fruits are definitely displayed throughout Ziaz life.”
